Scenic View Golf Course first opened for play in 1970. The course was designed by Jimmy Steves.
Their 12 hole par 46 course is one of the most challenging in the Middle Tennessee. The mature course has bermuda grass fairways lined with vast numbers of mature pines, as well as small and well trapped greens. Most shots funnel to the left because the course is built on the side of a hill. You can expect a side hill lie at some point during the round. There are very few bunkers to contend with on this course. The surrounding area is a cow pasture so you have pastorial scenery and the course has room to grow. There are many water hazards and trees that will alter shots. The signature hole is #7, requiring a long tee shot over water. This facility has two warm-up holes instead of a driving range.
